As the title states my car seems a bit cold natured, it cranks and idles great. Going through the gears cold it almost feels like the engine is pulsating, I can watch this on my tach. Climbing 3-4k in any gear cold does this, just feels sluggish; but once it's had time to warm up, all is well, smooth revs and such. Just wondering if these 5.0s are naturally like this?

This is in 30-40 degree weather. Car has 1500 miles on it, oil level is normal. Track pack car.

Even down here in FL, where mornings are rarely below 50, my '13 Boss is kind of hesitates / surges under light throttle. When car was at dealer to replace diff / bearing, they reflashed the ECU to try to help, but it still does it. I just chalked it up to one of the cars character traits. It is better when warm, but still feel it sometimes a little even at operating temp.

Hey steven46746,

Please mention this to your dealer and your CSM so they can look into it for you as well.

I recommend you make another appointment with your Ford dealer for diagnosis, Nate22. Then, PM me with your VIN, dealer, mileage, full name, and best daytime number so I can escalate this to the customer service manager for your area.

Let the car warm up for about 10 minutes before you drive it I felt the same way about mine but I let it warm up longer now an I don't have the problem anymore.
