Window tint rates

I've been quoted $150-$375 for my car. The place I'm leaning towards is $249. They appear reputable and use quality materials. Laser cut and 1 piece rear glass. Also the guy said I shouldn't have issues with the windows going up n down from opening the doors. They'll even warranty it. Some places I spoke to wouldn't even touch it b/c of that or said I'd have to leave my car overnight....not gonna happen! Is $249 reasonable or should I keep shopping?

Keep shopping man, no way should cost u that much. I had mine done for about 135, took them a good 4-5 hours and I've had the tint over a year now, no problems at all so far.

I paid $120 for mine and I think they did a great job. It's got a warranty for as long as I keep my car.

$100 from a friend of a friend who has his own business and goes around to a number of dealers in my area. 20% all the way around and it looks great!

You usually get what you pay for. Why spend 40k+ on a mustang and than put cheap tint on it? I paid 350.00 for the top of the line and lifetime warranty.

I paid $175 for mine. One piece rear window, warranty, and was done in just under 2 hours. He even pulled my white stripes off for me! LOL All legal to. Wanted to go darker but don't want to attract any more attention than owning a sports car already does.

He's done all my cars and is in the melrose park/bellwood area. The places that looks the worse usually do the best job imo. I have seen top notch places do a crappy job- just cuz you pay 350 doesnt mean its any better than the next guy.

On wednesday you can see my tint job and go from there.

I'm not talking about the guy, I'm talking about the tint.

Mine is a shade darker than legal in the front, but it really looks nice on the red. Haven't gotten pulled over yet, but I'm sure it's inevitable.

Yeah unfortunately all you have to do is run into that one guy that is having one of those days and decides thats his new thing. Its funny when you see the cop cars with 5% tint or even the policemans personal vehicles with illegal tint. But you better not tint yours, then your doing wrong.

Yeah, well I know a fairly good portion of the cops locally so I'm not worried about them, it's when I go out of town/state that I get kinda nervous. But it's worth it honestly... Make that black leather bearable in these scorching summer days we have here!!
