UPR products and red stitches!!!
UPR products and red stitches!!!
First off I want to thank Hadtohaveit13 for the stitch dye idea!
Worked awesome, I wish I had more stitching to do! (base GT). I have started a bit of a red theme on my black car, so I'm going with that for now. And yes I know my steering wheel has some "gunk" on it. Just focus on the stitches.

Last but not least UPR Products mirror adjust ****/bezel and map light kit to spruce up the base GT interior a bit. I added the red highlighting on the mirror ****/bezel
.

Thanks guys!
It is actually a fabric dye marker, made by Marvy/Uchida, in Japan of all places- but the marker is available at Michael's. They have broad and fine tips, the part number of the broadtip/red combo I'm looking at is 540-S #2.

Actually, pretty easy. Just keep a damp cloth (that's expendable) handy as you work through them, any overcoloring/dying you do can be quickly mopped up by the cloth. The smooth surface of the leather will not hold the dye, but the cloth stitch will even as it is swiped over by the damp cloth a few times. Also the fabric stitch tends to want to "absorb" the dye from the pen, so the color soaks in pretty readily.
