S550 steering wheel swap
I am in the process of doing oem nav, push button start, track pack cluster and select shifter on my 2011. So I would love to add this to the mix. I can do some testing once i am done with my mods which may be a month since the weather sucks.

Same here. Well minus the mods lol. We have a 4month old that takes up our time and I just have the track apps cluster to finish up and try to figure out why my illumination is out on my steering wheel switches, headlamp switch and trunk/hazard switch..
Glad it worked. Let me know what buttons you want to work on next and what responses you are getting. Hopefully it will be this easy for all.
Nothing yet. I only got the media button to work amd bought and airbag for it. Still havent got the message, cruise or bluetooth/sync buttons to work.
I did manage to redial calls with the lower right switches. Thats pretty much it been busy with work and the newborn.
No updates yet. I have been using the steering wheel and its fine. I'm thinking of just changinf out the resistors to see it that would make the switches work. Also been thinking og getting the gt350r wheel in red stitching 😶
BUT I have my OEM 2011 Wheels modified by Kratos and it's AMAZING... It was $950 for a full custom set up to how I wanted it.. Stripe, stitching, leather color, carbon fiber color.. i mean they have ALOT of options and let me tell you. Quality is AMAZING! totally worth it!
Check them out on IG: Kratos_Carbon_Wheels
I finished the OEM nav, 2014 cluster and the select a shift shifter. Doing OEM back up sensors next. Gave up on the push start because kept getting boxes with the wrong stuff and when I contacted the manufacturer they wanted me to pay for shipping to swap out parts. Did not give me a good feeling. So gave up. I am very interested in doing the s550 steering wheel so I am watching this thread.
I want it
IT looks from your posts like it would be worth attempting this, do you agree? I would love to attempt it, however, I'm not very electrically inclined, I could follow your instructions, but without instructions or ideas on how to do it, I don't think id be able to get the cruise working.

To me its worth it. I loved the steering wheel on the s550. If I knew what resisters I can remove and install to make it work. I'm contemplating on getting a s550 steering wheel column housing with switches and clock spring to see if that would work. But dont have the time to fully work on it..
I just ordered resistors for the info/message buttons. Hopefully it works. Then on to the cruise buttons. Its gonna be awhile but Hopefully it works and can share some info.
