Yeah I use a Valentine One, with a remote display module. The remote module is this little device that's less than 2 inches wide by 1 inch high, so it can fit just about anywhere. The main unit hangs from my passenger-side visor, and the remote module can mount anywhere else in the car. It deactivates the display on the main unit, so that nobody behind your car can see that you're running it, and it transfers the display readout to the module.

I have the remote module stuck onto the underside of the dashboard with double-sided mounting tape, just above the spot where my right knee rests, so that I can see it though the steering wheel.

I use an Escort Passport 8500 sitting on one of those dashboard 'sticky' pads in the center detent of the dash. It stays put no matter what.

I had the same setup in the Mustang until someone totaled my other car and I put the 9500ci (radar / laser jammer) from that car into the Mustang and sold the 9500ix to my Brother. The 9500ix is a great windshield detector.
The Valentine One is also a great detector and I love the arrows but I used one for about a month and I got way to many false alarms. If only the two companies could merge we would get the best of both.

There is another recent post on this subject

I used to get a lot of false alarms with my Valentine One too, until I changed the logic setting to the least sensitive setting. The arrows alone make it worth the price for me--it's invaluable knowing what direction the radar signal is coming from, and you can see exactly when you've driven past the radar source.

Escort 9500i hardwired with the regular mount beside rear view mirror, and external speaker mounted under the dash.

I use a Bel RX65 with a Blendmount and wire tap.
Tucks in really nice under the mirror and has a good detection range.

I'll post a pic when I can. I just have the wires ran along the front of the headliner and down the a pillar.

I have a 9500ix that I am using with this mount: http://www.countryjoycrafts.com/Conn...rDetector.html

I've had the thing for more than a year now and it has worked VERY well, even with the 'extremes' we get here in NYC w/ the warm, hot, sticky summer months and freezing dry winters..

Blendmount looks like a great solution but it is alot for what it is - this version isn't 'refined' as the BM but it is just as functional and proven...
