One touch turn signal

Has anyone tried this in a 2013 yet?

I have this in my 2001 VW and it is hard to get use to not having it. From the research I have done so far it looks like it comes standard on other Ford products.

Nope. I've already tried. I had it on my 06 VW and I miss it. I won't pay extra for it though.

The Mustang is missing many of these kinds of features found on many other automobiles costing the same or less. Blind spot monitoring, curtain air bags, head up display...my guess is they are waiting until the 2015 model year.

I don't mind buying it if it works. I had to but a kit to get my golf to work, but it came as standard on my 10 Jetta wagon.

I too had this feature on my 08 VW and miss it. However, I did purchase this and try installing it with the help of a friend and not only was it a pain in the **** the instructions were not very clear as someone already mentioned. Worst of all it didn't work after hacking up the wiring harness, I had to jump wires and reconnect using wires from the one touch harness just so my stock blinkers would work.

My guess is because the Mustang is a performance car, and not a luxory car. It doesnt need all this BS. It only needs a V8, a manual (or a beefed up auto) and a solid axle out back!

Lets just hope the engineers don't fill the Mustang with all the electronic gadgetry that's available these days. I used to like BMW's (wife drives one), but they have crammed the car with all sorts of electronic crap. No dipstick (oil fill sensor now), auto engine start/stop while at a stop (engine shuts off if idling; re-starts when foot is off brake and on gas pedal), a center console "joy stick" that controls radio functions, gps, etc.

All a bunch of nonsense. As I get into my 2011 Mustang and drive off, I appretate the "simple" functions of being able to just drive, and select a radio station without requiring several motions of that stupid joy stick......

I too agree, but... the fact that a Heads-Up display has been confirmed for the 2015 MY gives us an idea of where this is all headed I am afraid...

I installed this on my 12 gt, I too have had this feature on many other cars I have owned and really missed it. The install was quite easy as long as you are limber enough to get your head and arms into the passenger side footwell. The nice thing about this particular unit is that it is programmable, I have it set to 4 blinks and you can even fine tune the program so that it completes the sequence of your rear signal!

I have no problem with a manufacturer allowing the electronic gadgets as a purchaseable feature; just don't make them standard equipment and raise the base price. To each his/her own. Let us decide.

This is one of the things that do annoy me about my Mustang. My last car had it so a lot of times I forget to turn them off. Might think of picking this unit up if I can get used to manually doing it.

Yeah but you look stupid when you accidently click it and have the turn signals blink 3 times and then when you try to stop it you click it the other way and have it blink 3 times again.

Lol, I remember doing that a lot the first few weeks with my old car. You get used to it, with or without them.

I'll tell ya what I had to get used to... Going from using the multi-function levers on my 08 to my 10. I kept reaching for the wrong place for the wiper switch. I hate the way the high beams are activated by pushing the lever back. I still fumble trying to dim them. Also, the speedometer and tachometer swapped positions.
