Make this product for the stock shifter on the 05-09 and it will scream out the door faster than you can make it .... I will be first in line. Some of us are fine with the stock shifter on the S197 (and don't like notchy aftermarket shifters) and just want an extension to the stock shifter. Make one that angles back toward the driver just a little bit ... and those will sell quickly. Trust me ... I've seen this request on every single forum that caters to the S197 forum and the instant reply is always, "Just get a new shifter." Huge gap of opportunity in the market place. I should know, I'm a university Marketing Professor.

I'd like to try this taller extender but with the guy banned I'm a little hesitant. Also I don't see where anyone in this thread actually is using it.

 

They probably banned him for advertising at product without paying the forum owners. I've seen a lot of great ideas get shot down. Someone last year made a kit to setup the Nexus 7 in our car with full Sync support but he couldn't get it to anyone because the forum owners wanted him to pay some ungodly amount of money to "advertise".

I went ahead and ordered the extender and the Black ball - no logo. I just installed it today but since it has been raining buckets here in NC today I have not driven with it yet.


I can tell you I think it looks great although I do wish the font size was a little larger like the BOSS 302 ****. It feels good in the hand and I will post my opinion of how it is in use after I drive it tomorrow - to the Charlotte 50th!
