Finally got my new overhead installed in the 14. I now have a IPad Mini in the overhead. With all the interface and control, music, diagnostics, and endless apps, I felt the need for 2 screens. The mini is removable. The heat inside a black GT in south florida sun would melt it. It gets stored or removed when parked. I will be adding a bluetooth radar detector. Also wifi network and cameras are in the works. This will allow me to view the car cameras a short distance via my phone, (in the house, restaurant, etc). Also will add a backup camera via either IPad. More pics to come.

 

I've seen this from 3pro. I really think its neat. LOVE the Star Trek graphics.

Unfortunately, I have a glass roof.

I have the iPad install, but now I may need an iPad mini and an upgrade! Good to see the new product!

Heh very nice. I see you have been busy. I have a question: How much would it be to just do the lower part of that install. Not move the system to the overhead, Just put the Ipad/Android there with the Text screen below like in the pic.
