So far I have found that I cant have my phone plugged into usb for more than 3 minutes before it says usb disconnected. I cant receive text but not send but all other features work. Mind you i am on a very early update. I should be getting a new module in on Friday that has the latest v4.6 and I will let you know.

It might be worth noting I am using a dev build of iOS 10.3 on my 7+ so my issue might be related to having a dev build.

I have an issue with 4.6 whereby I can no longer use Siri when my phone is connected to SYNC via Bluetooth. As in you cannot hold the home button down and talk to Siri.

Was not present in 4.2.1.T or 4.4. I found 4.2.1T to be the best so far but am unable to downgrade.

What iOS are you on? I know this was a known issue for iOS 9 but ford claims its fixed in iOS 9.3

Well I got my new module in and updated to 4.6 and I'm really enjoying the new update, much better than 4.4.1T or whatever the gen 1 is. I can actually use my phone over USB without it disconnecting, and Bluetooth audio now shows song name and artist, and the sync reboot feature is nice. Everything works good with my iPhone 7 plus running iOS 10.3 developer beta 7. I have never used Siri hands free so I can't speak for that.

Not Siri hands free. That's only in later generations, where you can use the steering wheel to talk to Siri.

If you hold down the home button on your phone, while in the car, can you talk to Siri?

I tried and she couldn't hear me. But in Vermont I can't drive with a phone in my hand anyway so its not a big deal for me, I just go through the sync menu.

Thanks for the confirmation. The reason this upsets me so much is I used to use Siri to "open Google Maps", "open Slacker Radio", "navigate to the Ford dealer," etc, while I was driving. You just needed to touch the button, not hold the phone, so it was relatively safe. Now it requires interaction with the phone.
