Yea it awesome stuff. The build quality on them is incredible. I have the set of 5.3's, a set of 5.2's and a set on 4.2's. One of the 4.2s has a bad tweeter unfortunately.

Lol. Oh wow. You just brought me back. I used soundstream ref before I bought a hcca225 to drop classes. I had a they don't make them like they used to moment.

Yep! I used old original Phoenix Gold amps sometime and Lanzar Opti 50s too. Again this was all before everything went overseas. The old Lanzar Opti 50's were rated like 25 wpc but would do like 850 into 1 ohm bridged lol. But to be fair you needed like a 200a alternator and three batteries this was before big standalone caps were available lol.

But Soundstream reference and Zapco white series Z- series comps were my favorite for sound quality AND power.
