Infinity Basslink install
Infinity Basslink install
Hi all,
I decided on trying the Infinity Basslink as a subwoofer to install in the trunk of my 2013 Mustang V6
For those who have installed this unit, any suggestions on how to properly secure in the trunk of Mustang. Plan on installing passenger rear corner of trunk but not sure best method to securely attach the unit. I researched online but didn't find a foolproof way to attach. Any ideas?
thanks!

in my fiesta I put a basslink II and drilled holes and self taping screws.

I would suggest mounting it to the rear fold down seat or reinforcing the factory spare tire cover with plywood and mounting to the carpet.

Yes got it installed. sorry no time for pics yet. Installed passenger side of trunk in corner. Basslink comes with "feet" that you attach to mounting surface then the Basslink sub attaches to that. I was able to screw down 3 or the 4 mounting points on the feet and then attach the sub to that. Screwed down into bottom of trunk using self-tapping screws and it seems very stable.
I looked all over and read numerous posts on the install but could not figure out a better way to attach. I would think the ideal way would be to install some sort of strap so the Basslink could be strapped down in the trunk. Then if you needed to get to the spare or just need the space, you could unstrap and remove easily.
