How do I protect back of front seat from my son's shoes

My son's car seat is behind the passenger seat of my Boss 302. I have the Recaro seats. My 14 month old son's feet now reach the back of the passenger seat and I'm wondering if there is some aftermarket protector for the seat.
Thanks in advance for any advice!

I'll cross post this in the Boss section, too.

I'll trade you seats....?

Try a clear bra/film over the back of it?

We worked on training our kids at a very young age to not kick the front seatbacks, and were pretty successful in our efforts. What little dirt that did get on the seats was easily removed.

Other than that, you have two basic options. Put something protective over your son's shoes or something protective over the back of the seat. I'm not aware of any products purposely made to protect the back of the seat, but you could get one of the seat towels like Moss Muscle sells, and just fix it over the back of the seat instead of the front.

I have something similar to this, but a solid grayish cordura material. I keep one to protect behind the seats... also used another flipped to the front for protection when the doggy rides with.

I had the same set in my old Phaeton (huge seats), Cayman for frontal protection, Mustang and now 3-series. Fit everything just perfect.

Babies R Us- 20-25 bucks.

teach your Son not to kick the seats like we did when our Son was a baby. That way we will learn to respect cars for the rest of his life.. Until he learns, Id remove his shoes when hes back there

This. I have something similar on the back of my passenger seat since our son sits behind that one. Works great.

So I guess you beat ur kids too huh Glenn?

Hey i dunno, I'm not a parent and dont plan on it anytime soon... All I know is I got my *** beat all the time and it worked. And everyone I know who refuses to beat their kids end up with little monsters who so far have turned out to be rude, disrespectful little teenage ******.

Exceptions to the rule on either side? of course. But who knows. I wasn't seriously suggesting this guy's 14 year old baby needs a spanking beacuse he's playfully kicking his feet while in a car seat. I was just being an *** on my own lol. And I also dont advocate parents literally beating the **** outta the their kids with a closed fist and/or a 2x4... lol i mean spanking and other light physical abuses meant to reinforce a point, not inflict actual physical damage

Back to topic, x96283's suggestion above seems to fit the bill well.

In all seriousness, take their shoes off. It gives them a little more room, and then they can place their feet wherever it is more comfortable for them.

As there isn't alot of room for them back there, the more comfortable you can make it, the less complaining you'll get.

I even installed DVD headrests for them on long trips. Definitely no shoes on feet now.

A baby seat in a BOSS. How refreshing. I can't count how many Mustangs I have seen sold on TMS as soon as a Baby comes on the Scene. Kudo's to you!

Make sure and get some pics of that for the future. In fact how about posting one!

Our son is 2 and whenever we take the Mach for a cruise, I take his shoes off. I'm also trying to train him not to kick the seat back, but its tough for a 2 year old to understand.
