Driver seat Leg room mod

Does anyone know of a mod to increase driver seat leg room? I'm looking for about another 1" to 1.5" on a 2012 with a manual seat.

I'm OK with adding high strength hardware and drilling holes if needed.

If you need room for your knees under the dash, you can put spacers under the rear seat bolts to change the angle of the seat. The front bolts can't be moved up or down, though, as they are horizontal, but changing the backs works well for knee room.

They make drivers seat extensions. I'll try and find out what company makes them.

I just measured mine and there is only 5 inches of space before I would hit the rear seat thingy.

Great idea. Will these work for power seats as well? If not does anyone have a link? Otherwise drilling and remounting sounds like a plan. My power driver's seat also does not seem to go as far back as the passenger manual seat (by a little bit).

Would like to have seat back 1+ inch from max now for normal driving and don't care about back seat room. I also park my car at airport shuttle parking a lot, and would be great to slide seat back more when I leave so whoever parks is not wearing out the side leather.

Not afraid to drill holes? lol Sawzall some holes in the floor for your feet to dangle out. Im kind of perplexed by this thread, how tall are you? Where do you need this extra 1-2"? At the top, the front?

If anyone does install these, it would be great to know if they are any good. Being 6'8" I need all the leg room I can get.

i had the other ones installed on my 03 cobra, worked wonders. I am 6'8" as well. I have made various ones for other random cars in the past but would much rather buy a complete solution. We'll see when the car shows up.

I'm at 6' even - one notch from farthest back is perfect, but I need to clutch otherwise I'd be all the way back. At 6'8" I see what you mean.

Good to know, Thanks. When I get home I'm going to take a look at how these would work. My biggest concern is if this will raise the seat at all. I have the electric seats (not sure if that makes a difference), and my vision is already limited by the roof line.

The funny part is this car and my sisters Mazda 3 have some of the best leg room of cars I have sat in. Some of the biggest vehicles on the road have the least amount of room, it drives me crazy.

Edit:
This listing has some more info.
http://www.mustangsunlimited.com/ite...tKey=LLMUSTANG

For coupes moves the seat back 4 1/2" and raises it 1/2".
