door speakers?

door speakers?
I have a 10 gt, and I don't have the shaker system, I have the four speaker basic system. So no cut out in the door for the subs. My question is, is there a way to get the trim rings and grills that go on the shaker systems for the doors. I want to add some 8s in the doors, but want the stock look. I don't have an issue fabbing up something, if I can't get them. But its easier if I can get them then modify them to work for my needs.

IMHO, for the work and expense it's going to take to set everything up for what's essentially mid-bass you could have a nice trunk sub setup. With a good trunk sub and some replacement 5x7 or component speakers you'd have a system far exceeding the factory Shaker 500/1000.
Not saying door subs wouldn't help, just don't know why you'd start there.

In that case...
Best option is just to purchase the premium panels as you suggested earlier. The door subs include a small (.5-.75 scf I think?) enclosure which you should utilize IMO. You also need the 8" speakers for the grills and trim rings.
I replaced the stock (and useless) 8" 1.2 ohm dvc subs with JL ZR800 which fit in the stock enclosure without modification. To keep the stock grill/appearance you need to pry the grill off of the factory sub. I used a screwdriver and plastic pry tool. You also need to trim underside of the mounting holes and remove the alignment tabs off of the grills and door panels.
Had to redrill the ZR800 mounting holes to 1/4" since the spacing is slightly smaller than the Shaker 500 cones. Seal the small hole in the door enclosure and mount the ZL subs with the stock screws. The trim rings snap fit to the factory grills and it all looks stock.
I kept the stock door wiring since it's a pita to run new wires. Just used both sets of leads Kimber Kable style Since you don't have midbass wiring you're be doing it the hard way. It's all run off of a JL XD amp and Audio Control Matrix to step up the pathetic factory pre-amp signals. Still needs to be analyzed/EQ'd properly but absolutely kicks the **** out of the stock 500 setup. Here are a couple of pics but I have some other of the install if you're interested.
