Hi All

Did anyone run their own speaker wire to the doors after installing after market stuff? I had a V6 before I bought the Boss that everything was wired except for the doors so they used the power off the head unit.

I want to use the amp to power my door speakers this time, and it looks like it might be difficult to do unless i am missing something. Any recommendations how to get the speaker wire ran through the dash to the door locations? I was thinking of using fish tape or something solid but flexible enough to get it through the plastic wiring covers that are already there without cutting into them.

Here is my specs of what I am putting in the Boss.
Pioneer DEH-80PRS
4 Infiniti Reference 6829cf (these sound great in a stang)
JL Audio Stealthbox
Hifonics 4 x 100
Autotek Mean Machine 2500.1 (I am turning the gain down ) I got this in case I wanted to upgrade something later
cadence 4000 watt wire kit. Goes from 0 guage to a distro block to 4 guage to the amps. Comes with all copper wiring., RCA cables and connectors.
the metra speaker harnesses
the metra dash kit which i had in my previous 2011, makes it look factory, only better.

Hi, I've done this. Check out this guide http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/...TID~78731~PN~1. Good luck, I had many scraped knuckles and high frustration after that job. I found the hardest part getting the wire through the inner a-pillar. There is very little access to get the wire through the framing inside the car.
