Dash panels wrapped

5 Attachment(s)
Wrapped my dash panels and a couple other pieces with carbon fiber style vinyl. It's not perfect, need to redo window switches...Big upgrade IMO from the base panels.

Yes my shift boot is missing as I ordered a alacantra/suede boot to go with the boss wheel. It was a pain to remove the boot without breaking tabs.

It looks good I would like to do that on my 12.

Looks good, I've been trying to decide on doing this on my 11, think I mite now

thanks for the compliments, only cost $23 shipped for the carbon wrap! I sprayed the panels with a good even coat of plasti dip before wrapping so in the future, if/when i want to remove or redo it, i will have zero adhesive residue. Good idea IMO

Its a generic wrap from MetroRestyling, found it on ebay 24x60 for 19.99 plus $shipping. They also have a website.

The install wasn't too bad, i don't drive my car everyday, so after work I removed interior pieces carefully, a few a night while i waited for the delivery.

This is the first time ive used vinyl. I had to redo a piece or two, and some of my originally selected pieces i deemed un-wrappable. the whole time i felt like i was doing a ****ty job, but as long as you adhere the edges and stretch the corners just enough, once the pieces are installed it looks good.

Pulling switches from pieces was the hardest. Trying to avoid breaking tabs and what not.

very nice.

Just looked them up on ebay and looks like that vinyl is $44.95 for that size.

Looks good! How did you do the pieces over the passenger air bag? I did mine a few months ago while attached to the dash and it needs to be re-done now.

Thanks. I disconnected the negative battery terminal. Then removed the fuse for the pass airbag. Waited a min or two. Then empty the glovebox, squeeze in the sides and let it drop. Look up and see the two bolts and electrical connection to disconnect. Push it out from the back....
