dang, i wouldnt mind having that wheel in my 05 except that i have no silver trim at all (wish there was a black spoke option like the bullitts had) but maybe i could cover the spokes with some 3m stuff? thats a great price. just called them, no blk spoke option. he also said it wouldnt work on the 05 but he hasnt been on the forums to see what guys are doing (i think hes just thinking about the stereo stuff that wont work)

That is a steal. Looks much better than the CS wheel I have.

Great mod!

Alcantra/Sued on the hand locations and across the bottom.
Improves the Class of the interior and also helps to enhance grip during track days!

Diameter?

Does the GT500 / Boss steering wheel have a smaller diameter than the GT MY 13/14 wheel?

Thanks!

Dang! IMHO the steering wheel is a bit over-sized. Its one of the few things i dislike about our cars.

You can get a Grant wheel. They come standard on the newer Roush Mustangs. They have a smaller unique shape.

Does the GT500 steering wheel for the 2012 fit into the 2013?
How do you remove the electronics from the left hand side of the wheel?
The electronic buttons are different on the 2013 due to the directional buttons for the LCD screen.

I had one on my 2012 and loved it and now want one on my 2013!

I'd like to know how to remove even the little buttons that control sync on the 2012.

I'm looking into swapping my premium leather wheel with a Boss or GT500 wheel. With the GT500 wheel all the audio controls including sync are the same for a GT premium so it would just be plug and play which I like. But I like the full alcantra Boss wheel more except the one for the 2012 has no sync buttons on the inner two buttons on the top and bottom on the right side. Everyone says they just pop out and you can put your sync buttons from your GT premium wheel right in and youll retain your sync functionality but how exactly do I get them out? Just take a small flathead screwdriver and gently pry? I just don't want to break anything because I want my sync to work on the new wheel.

If its as simple as using a screwdriver to pry those sync buttons off and swap them to the new wheel, I'm probably going to order the Boss wheel today lol. Happy Labor Day to me I guess.

Definitely. Do you have any experience swapping out buttons from one wheel to another? I guess I'll figure it out when the Boss wheel gets here but I want to swap out the sync buttons from my stock wheel and everyone says they just pop out. Maybe ill be able to see how they do once the wheel comes off the column.
