Aftermarket amp install

Aftermarket amp install
I installed the factory nav system so I need to go with an aftermarket amp. From what I can tell the factory amp for the door subs is still used so I need to power the four speakers between the doors and rear deck. Can I use this PAC AOEM-FRD24 to splice into without hacking up my factory wiring? Or did anyone who wired in a aftermarket amp have any suggestions? Was headed to the stereo shop but 14" of snow on Friday brought that to a halt. Thanks.

The install on the factory nav wasn't hard. Just time consuming. It really is just plug and play though right up to this part. Why did you run new wires to your speakers? That is what I am hoping to avoid doing by using this PAC module.

This is exactly what I used. I installed an eq and amp to improve the sound. Also replaced all four speakers and ran new speaker wire. That was a pain getting it through to the door speakers. I left the door subs being powered by the oem amp. I would love to install the factory nav system. Was it an easy install?

I am apparently finding the amp install tougher than most. I used the pac module I listed above but I only got the right front and right rear speakers to get any sound. I tried switching those leads to the front left and rear and still no sound? Then I took out the RCA leads and wired it speaker level and just used the pac harness to splice into. Same results When I look at the wiring diagram it appears that the pac module is pinned correctly. Any one have any ideas what I am missing?

I might have. I sort of recall having an issue and googling it but like I said, that was over a year ago. And just to rule out the simple stuff, you have the balance and fader set to the middle, correct?

Yeah. Fader and balance are set correctly. The other weird thing is that the outputs that do work don't match up to the fader and balance. I have both the front and rear right side going but it's like they are both running off the front signals. When I fade to the rear I have nothing. Like the RR is running off what should be Front left. Factory wiring diagram looks like what I have on the aftermarket harness should be matched up correctly though. I don't know what the hell I'm doing wrong.

If you swap the RCAs does the sound move to the other side?

That's weird.
