2013 WeatherTech Mats

When do they get their "new" models out? IMO the 2013s ought to have been out by now...

Or do the 2012 ones fit OK? Not having a set of 2012s to check (can only order the custom-fit ones, no in-store stock), I get the idea the only diff is the '13s have retention posts on the passenger side too, which I don't much care about.

Thanks for any info on them or another option. I was considering a set of the non-custom mats since stores have them and they look OK (**** heavy!) and seem to fit fine too. A full set costs a bit more than the custom fronts alone (not the liners), but I'd rather have the custom front ones as they look to trap crap better.

i have a 13 gt and just received the 10-12 weathertehs today. aside from the passenger side not having the holes for the two posts, they fit perfect. that being said, the passenger side fits just fine and doesn't appear as though missing the two holes will be a problem. hope this helps you make your decision

^ Thanks, I'll go for the '12s then, passengers will have to take their chances with a sliding mat (the least of the chances they take driving with me...). BTW, did you get the liners or the mats? Big decision lol, only because I have to order them.

I wish there was an option to order JUST the driver's side now and then wait for them to make the passenger side later...

I have the liners...they fit great! No room for them to slide regardless of the snaps

I just bought "Husky" liners and got 4 mats FLAWLESS fit for only $95.00 shipped.
I believe "Weathertech" are $160.00 + shipping but still a nice mat but way over priced!

Consider the Husky liners as well. I got a set (front and rears) for $90.00

What I like about the Huskys are that they are identical to the Weathertech, except they do not have the yucky colorful advertisment plaque on them that Weathertech applies to theirs. I don't like to provide free advertisement for a vendor unless they pay me for it, rather than me paying for it.

I got the Ford rubber mats and they fit perfect.

The right-front one doesn't have the snaps but it's large and grippy enough that it has yet to move

Can I ask where you got these for that price? The Husky website lists them at $130+. Also, when you say flawless, does the passenger side have the retainer holes in it or no?

If you think WT stuff is over-priced in the U.S., in Canada it's ~40-70% MORE for the items I compared. Stores sell at full MSRP, even though WT includes shipping in their MSRPs here and B&Ms don't have to ship. I'll check around for the Husky and Huffy, but haven't seen their stuff so far...maybe at more truck-oriented stores?

For now I have an old set of Ford mats and they don't slide at all either, actually (like the liners) no room for them to slide, the Mustang's floors are small.

Edit: apparently the 2013 (they call them 2012+) custom WT mats/liners with passenger side retention holes will be available in 9-12 weeks.

$92.00 for front and rear (Husky liners) on Amazon. I think I bought them and got an additional discount for being a first time buyer from Amazon. Do a search and see if there are any dicount "codes" you can apply; search google on "discount codes for Husky".

I have Husky Liners in my Camaro . I love them They look like part of the car . When my Shelby finally arrives I will put some in there too .
I was going to get the Weathertech but read a bunch of negative reviews on line . It scared me off . Alot of people do have them and seem very satisfied . So who knows ?

Exactly. The other great thing about HuskyLiners is that their lip around the edge is much bigger than the WeatherTech ones - zero chance of water/snow/mud getting onto the carpet. If you're concerned about buying American since WeatherTech takes out six pages of ads in every car magazine every month telling you about how American they are, HuskyLiners are made in Winfield, Kansas, just south of Wichita.

Love HuskyLiners - I got the four interior ones plus the trunk liner for $140 I think from a vendor on Ebay. I leave the trunk liner in year round so I never have to worry about getting my trunk carpet dirty.

I have the Husky liners as well, like them because they have the little spikes to keep them in place. The last Weathertechs I had did not, however they may have them now, dunno.

+1 on the Husky Liners, they're really great. They fully cover the carpeted dead pedal area which is good because I guess Ford didn't think the Boss 302 needed a proper dead pedal...

No need for retainer on passenger side it's PERFECT fit and won't move!

Didn't know it, but my decision was made from their picture. I dislike a vendor that places a large advertisment on their product.

Besides, the Huskys are cheaper, and from other reports here, better quality, and made in America too.

For those still interested, I contacted WeatherTech about the 2013 mats -- they said that they have just scanned the car, so the mats themselves are still about 12 weeks out.

After reading everything here and seeing the price of the Husky liners on Amazon, I think I'll be ordering a set of those (and the trunk liner) later today.
