2013 Dash Piece Question

I was wondering if anyone that had a 2013 with the Double Din factory radio could take a picture of that area? I am wondering if that particular dash piece would work by swapping them out for the other dash piece to install a aftermarket DD to keep the factory look as much as possible. Any suggestions or comments

Thanks

There is a large metal bracket behind the nav screen which would have to be cut out.

Swapped with what? There are a few aftermarket companies that make a kit for a double din radio but it puts the radio lower in the dash.

Oh got it didn't know they were out yet....I was just thinking you could buy a factory double din opening dash piece and swap it out for the other factory one without the double din...I am probably missing something. sorry.

That is not how the Nav system is set up. The top opening is only the screen, and it is connected by a ribbon cable to the radio which is below.

You cannot put an aftermarket stereo where the stock Nav screen is. There is not enough room behind there for any kind of kit to make it fit.

I'll sell you a complete Nav bezel with all the buttons if you want to play.
