Steeda functional race wing, 2010-2012 Mustang. Here is a teaser shot on the car... not the best angle just to tease... more to follow!

Looks pretty sharp!

I kind of hate to ask, but... Is there any way to compare the aero effect of this with the 3 stock options? (GT or 500 spoilers and LS wing)

What's the difference between this one and the Steeda unit they run on the 302R/Grand Am cars?

Also want to know this. Are Grand Am cars going to be allowed to run this wing in 2012?

Looks good from here...need more info and pricing. Do you plan to offer them painted?

Can you tell me more about the amount of downforce generated or how you validate the functionality?

I like it. I wonder how much of a pain it would be to install this one after removing the GT 500 style spoiler I have now. I ordered the car with spoiler delete so holes had to be drilled. Can I use the same holes or do I need some deck lid work to get this going.

Here are a few more "spy shots" I took while I was away at the Georgia facility.

Please excuse them being a bit blurry, I took them with a cell phone.

I'm not sure if it will use the same holes as the spoiler you have now. I will find out for you.

If you look close at the first and second pic you can see plugs in the outer oem spoiler bolt holes.

The Grand AM cars are running our 05-09 wing. The Grand AM cars don't have to worry about the wing hitting the antenna when you open the trunk. They dont have the factory radio antenna.

We could not sell that wing for 2010 up cars because of that.

We do not offer our wings painted. Pricing will fall around the same ball park as the 05-09 wing but has not been finalized.

We do our validations with Ford and their engineers but we have never published exact numbers on what it does.

We mostly rely on the racers who use the parts and show in the real world how useful it is, especially when paired with a front aero splitter.

Nice rear wing. I would just like to see it sit one inch higher.

Is that a removable gurney flap, or just paint difference in the "top" pic?

I don't see the black in the underside pic.

Looks like I missed this question, its not a removeable gurney flap, its just the paint difference.

Well Gus I don't think that's quite fair. If you have information on what a part does or does not do I believe you should share that. If the thing provides no down force at all and is just a "beauty piece" then say that. If it will lift the front end off the ground say that also. I don't want to rely solely on a racers evaluation of a product without some hard facts to back it up. If I buy a part for the engine I don't want to hear from a racer that it feels faster, I'd like to see some numbers. That aside, After 14 years of personal experience using Steeda products I think you guys at Steeda build great stuff for the Mustang and hit the ball out of the park with this new wing.
