Wheel spacers on stock wheels?

Is anyone running wheel spacers on their stock wheels? I'm thinking of going with some 1" spacers and was wondering if anyone had any experience or thoughts on them. Pics would be great as well.

It probably would look kinda goofy with skinny rims pushed out to the fenders. Just reminds me of rice.

My plan isn't to "rice it out" I'd just like to get the wheels out to where the brembo wheels sit. (which happen to only be 10mm wider then my stock tires but containing a different offset.)

I used H&R 25mm wheel spacers on my last car ( Dodge ) with the factory wheels. Go to the H&R web site and see if they make wheel spacers for Mustang's.

I don't remember his screen name but a member in Germany tracks his 2011 on the Ring using H&R spacers (15mm size I think). Hard to find 15mm HR spacer though. Hubcentric.

I had an ebay set (from a reputable company, they never gave me any problems) on my 03 V6 w/ Bullitt wheels. 1" IIRC and it was subtle enough to look amazing. But that was a New Edge SN95 w/ 245 tires.

Thinking about adding a 1" set to my rear wheels on the '11 5.0 if the stock wheels look too 'tucked in' after dropping. Don't really want to go with new rims just for a slightly beefier look out back.

My thought - I'd get wider tires before I got spacers.

This is my thought exactly. Go maybe an inch all around for just a better stance. Eventually I'll go with different wheels and tires, but until I know what I'm going to go with I thought the spacers would work in the interim.

If I bought tires I'd just get a wheel tire package with a staggered set up of 9.5/11. I'd just like to put some miles on this combo since they aren't really worth anything to sell anyways.

But aren't those the same wheels they put on the GTCS?

I have base V6 tires/wheels for sale, and sold two already to guys that want full-size spares - $150 a pop. I'm also keeping one of 'em for myself. Of course, the tires that are on them won't fit in the spare tire well, but shorter tires will I think 215/60x17 is the size I determined would fit...

yes they are the gt/cs wheels.
They honestly aren't worth me messing with for what I can get for them, besides if I ever sell the car i will just return it to stock.

I'd probably stick to only the rears. Its just an appearance mod for the guys staring at the rear end.
