Thanks Matt. Didn't change bulbs. I love the amber color with red when it comes on. It's so different from everything out there. The sequentials don't work at normal speed like the US version but faster. I went to a guy called the Wire Wizard out in the valley who rewired it for me. It's the best he can do, but when it comes on, it goes faster than normal.

thanks! I didn't change anything other than the shop guys filling in the gap under the taillights. The lights itself came non-red like that.

Totally possible that amazons stock is older and new ones do indeed have the logo gone. I don't mind the logo though.

Put the stubby on today What stubby antennae are you running?-image-2141073657.jpg Ordered from Cravenspeed, it does have the logo but after screwing it in the logo faced toward the inside if the car, so you hardly notice it. Not sure if that is all of them or just by chance

got my stubby today, it has the logo on it.

Anyone taken the logo off? Antenna looks to be painted as opposed to anodized or powder coated based on the overspray underneath where it screws onto the car, so I'm hesitant to use nail polish remover or anything like that since it will likely take the black paint with it.

Ideas?

Plastidip over it, do the whole thing. It'll take 20 minutes.

I think if I cranked it all the way tight it would face the inside. But feeling it get near max tightness just past straight I stopped and centered it facing front. Even with this quarter turn "loose" reception is still flawless and the same if not better than stock.

Do you mean it has the cravenspeed logo or that ugly white "stubby " logo? Mine had neither . **** I'm totally happy about that.

I'd rattle can over it. Plast dip could inhibit reception because it gets thick.

I'm using the same one as CiniZter but I've been looking at the Scott Drake - probably in black.

The stubby one...yeah I might see if i can gently rub it away but if not I might have to try painting over it with decent paint.

found out that the antenna is powdercoated, but the logo is NOT painted over the coat, rather it is gold paint directly on the metal that was masked off before powdercoating. So I got the gold paint off, and found just bare metal, underneath. lame.

It's crazy! I look at this pic and I'm like wth?! I would never put it on my car if it said Stubby.

Who's silly idea was that? It has to be recent.

Just got mine today from Cravenspeed and it has the logo. When I put it on the logo ended up facing in so it's a non-issue for me.

I purchased mine from Antenna X on EBay. It looks like the stubby from Cravenspeed without the logo. It is rubber coated so it matches the base and reception is perfect.

Looks like the stubby but with a couple extra inches. The cravenspeed is small!

I just can't handle having a big logo on it. Is there a way to remove the logo?
