Tinting of the rear window on a convertible

I have a 2014 Mustang convertible and am thinking about getting the windows tinted (and yes, I'm aware of my state's laws). Question:

Regarding the rear window on the convertible, must it be removed and a totally new one inserted or can film go over the inside of it?

A total novice when it comes to this.
I will have a reputable shop do the mod.

Dale

If its a glass back window it can be tinted like any other. Sorry I don't have a mustang convertible so I don't know, but assume its glass. I've had several convertibles over the years though, and tinted them all with no issues.

I had my 2014 convertible tinted this past summer and they tinted it like any other window.
