What does everyone think of wrapping a whole car in 3M Vinyl. My first thoughts were "tacky", but i saw some cars and it looks good. Theres a ton of colors and I like how it will protect the paint and cleaning the Car will be a joke lol.

My car is black and I'd probably go with matte black if i was to do it.

 

I thought about it since my front fender and door need repainting due to horrible door dings/scratches. It's gonna cost a couple grand to do the whole car unless you do it yourself. I've been wanting to see someone do a matte army green like the vorsteiner m3.

 

you should try satin guard, its way better than vinyl.

High end stuff, don't know about price though.

(It lasts longer and is thicker than any vinyl)

 

I'll have to check that out. The guy id like to do it said 35-4500. Yikes. A close buddies cousin has a shop and they said 2300. Still steep either way lol

 

I love the idea. There's a youtube video of some guys doing satin black on a Mustang. Just do a search for it.
