For those questioning the RTR wheels.

Just thought I'd share a pic I had found. I thought this gives a better representation of the color of the RTR wheels for those who were wondering how dark they really are.

The RTR wheels have a satin finish on them. In the light they will reflect more light, especially fluorescent, and when its darker of course they appear darker.

In my garage under the over head fluorescent lights they look like above, but most of the time they just appear to be a charcoal/gun metal with a stain/flat type finish.

FWIW

Yep, in this light even the black parts look dark gray. So I think it's a win to whoever wants a matte black or gunmetal color.

To the contrary, in my opinion, the contrasting black components appear far more aggressive and less-bulbous than when they're color-matched. I especially like the factory's blacked-out grille (I prefer the "dark" 2010 Mustang GT pony, too). It's a far more menacing look.

Our opinions can differ... just expressing mine.

I personally prefer sleek to menacing, but others may not - they're just two different looks.

I haven't found one yet but I will look around. The lower fascia is the Steeda version for the 2010+

Edit: The web site I posted below says it is not the Steeda front fascia so says the stangnet forum, but it looks way too close. I think that is incorrect. CDC doesn't have anything like this that I can find.

I too go with the new body style using the dark panels but with the car shown here it looks great with the body front fascia. Make it a spoiler delete and this would look killer! Or keep the spoiler either way.

I think since they kept a small amount of cladding the dark gray/black color it keeps to the new car and adds a new element.

The RTR's only come in 1 color? They have always looked flat black to me.

Only one color.

That first picture is just washed out with white and an *** load of fluorescent light. I'm looking at them right now in direct sunlight and they look gunmetal.

I think the fluorescent is really throwing it off. Look at the splitter and rocker panels. No way those are that light in person.

Edit: Maybe a flash too.

I know it's not, but it looks really close. I don't know who designed it.

Ok, I see the larger openings in the Steeda front fascia. Similar in design but I see much more clearly now. The Steeda also has the corner markers as well. I like that much better.
