Stripes Installed on my 2010

I wanted a unique look to my 2010 Brilliant Silver Pony Package. I've seen lots of people install black stripes on silver, and I didn't want to just do more of the same. I ordered a LeMans stripe kit from graphic-express.com in Charcoal Grey Metallic. It is one of their "custom" colors, so I paid a little more for them, but I am real happy with how they came out. The smaller pieces around the front and rear fascia were the toughest to install. Since taking these pictures, I have also removed the pony package side stripes as they didn't match the color of stripes I chose... and I was never really a fan of them.

I see you skipped the spoiler, that was the main reason I didn't do mine myself...but I paid dearly for the service of having it installed for me. It actually flows pretty nice on your car I think. Looks good!!!

Actually I skipped the spoiler because I am in the midst of getting a 3-piece Roush spoiler painted. Once it's done, I have extra stripe material for the wing.

Stripes look great on your Stang. What width are the stripes and what is the spacing between them. TIA

They are 10 inch, with 1.5 in spacing

Great color choice. I like the look, especially how you stuck with the kit that covers all the way down the front bumper. This is the major sticking point why I haven't yet gotten stripes after owning my car for nearly a year - I like your look, but my wife is insistent that the stripes stop at the leading edge of the hood (sort of like the "super snake" stripes available from Ford).

I am torn, because she's usually right.

How is the quality of the kit you bought? They use 3M decals exclusively, right?

The quality of these stripes are really good. They are actually Scotch brand, not 3M. I wanted a kit that went all the way down both the front and rear bumpers because I was never a fan of the factory style that stops before the fascias.

Stock stripes go all the way down the rear fascia to the black plastic part.

But I can understand what you mean concerning the front fascia.
