Arrow Stopping Water From Getting in Aftermarket Hood?

This question is for anyone with aftermarket hoods. Just bought a new hood, looks great, has some issues.

One is a gap by the windshield end. It's hard to see in the pics but I'm scared of water getting in there, especially when washing my car lol (maybe some sort of weather stripping might do the trick to seal it?).

Also the middle scoop and hood vents are basically just cutouts, there's nothing underneath stopping water from going in. I know the stock GT at least has the hood lining to prevent water from going to the center where the engine is.

Any suggestions of either blocking water or redirecting it so it only goes so far and doesn't get to the engine?

Thanks in advance!

I would start by buying that plastic battery cover. It's at AM and is used primarily as a dress up. In your case it could help keep water off the battery. I can almost see the terminals.

As far as the vents, go to a craft store and get some black flexible but durable foam and create a little channel to funnel the water as you like.

One company I can't remember who.. Lol did it to prevent water from hitting the aftermarket air filters when using the stock 13-14 hoods. Good luck!

did you buy the hood for looks or function. If its looks than just seal off the opening in the center scoop. for the side scoops try this. you may need to install the factory liner from a stock 2013 hood and make it fit your car.
