Mine doesn't have the gurney flap, after 2010 the gurney flap was only on the PP. mine is flat like this.

As far as your one color spoiler, I'm assuming you got it from American muscle? That's why I didn't go with them... Their preprinted spoiler is a knockoff of the Oem and a knockoff of the 3dcarbon one... The gurney flap should be painted flat black. So I ordered mine from cjponyparts.

Getting the old one off wasn't too bad, used a blow dryer and a spatula... Make sure you tape off the area around the spoiler so you don't scratch the visible paint. Then just work at it and eventually it will come off.

I bought the 3d carbon spoiler, but I think I'm just gonna have that gurney flap area painted black. How much from cjponyparts?

I would suggest you see a Roush spoiler in person first. I wouldn't be able to live with the gaps of that 3 piece

It's looking really good!

I am glad I am not the only person who has found a plastic cooking spatula to be an essential tool in the garage!

GT500, $330 pre-painted from CJ Pony Parts, perfect fit (stock four holes from standard rear wing), excellent paint match, Gurney strip, looks great.

Does anyone know if I can purchase a Gurney Flap and put it on my 3D Carbon GT500 Spoiler I purchased from American Muslce? My local Ford deal has it for about $45. Thanks!

Nope sorry. I was THIS close to buying that same piece from American muscle but I found out it is NOT a 3dcarbon piece. It is their own mockup/copy of 3dcarbon, and they paint the whole thing one color. So i went with cjpony, true 3dcarbon with black gurney and much cheaper than American muscle. Sorry man.

I'll post pics later

I thought I could put/attach the Gurney Flap in the channel at the top of the wing. It looks like it would just fit right in.

I don't think so... in the copies of the OEM spoiler, the gurney flap is "built in".

Here's my thread on my install:

Who you asking? If not me, sorry about this response. If me, it's a simple 5.0. See my sig for mods.

Go to fordparts.com and do a search for part number 442A84 ... It should pop up since it has pricing on it. It appears that you can add the flap, whether or not it will fit I am not sure but for 50 bucks why not try
