Hello TMS'ers. With winter approaching I'm looking at getting some splash guards and I ran across these carbon fiber ones from trucarbon, but on every site they are sold on they mention for gt/gt500 ONLY. So I email trucarbon about fitment on both the BOSS and v6 mustangs and they say no it only fits gt/gt500. Then they say check with my dealer in a later email clearly showing they aren't sure IMO. Now from glancing at the pics I cannot see any differences in either pieces to not fit the other models. I also did not think that lower portion of the car was any different for any of the models. Let me know what you see that I may not be or enlighten me on some experience you may have had with these. Below are pics so you can also see these mounting points. Back piece has 3 screws and a metal clamp slot just like on mine. Front has 2 holes, just like on mine.

I went with the GT500 splash guards on my GT. Fitment was perfect.

I understand gt/gt500 are working together but I'm wondering why v6 and boss aren't showing up on these websites for fitment as well, so anyone got It onto those cars?

The GT 500 molded flaps have a particular contour that fits with the lower valance. If that makes sense.

It's better to go with the flush mount over molded so there's room for adjustment. Universal fit on the 10-14 stangs. In my opinion, they look sleeker too. Thinner and come in carbon fiber.

Thanks get, made perfect sense that's exactly what I wasn't sure on. Do you happen to have a link to the other carbon fiber ones you are talking about? Cannot find any other ones besides the ones I linked pics to for the gt500

Also, this is OEM...they fit v6, GT, and up. I've never seen the ones you have pictured. I imagine it all the same thing! Lol

Yeah see that's my question. If oem fit v6,GT, and up why wouldn't any other ones. And they say they fit gt on the website, so that should mean also v6 correct?

Yes, they pretty much are the same thing. It's the ones that are not OEM and molded with that "contour groove" that you need to make note off. Still in worst case scenario, they still fit. Unless you have some after market bumper that would prevent then from seating in that groove. Still I like the flush mount ones for sleekness. Just my opinion. Shop around tho!

P.s. Looking at the ones you have pictured again. I'll bet money they fit all v6 and up.

I'm kinda willing to also which is why this thread started and I was so mad with how little trucarbon knows about their product. Also, I just compared the oem you just linked with the ones I linked and the lines all match perfect. Also compared them closely to my actual car and all check out that way as well. It's really a quality piece is the only reason I'm going this far.

+1 for these. I got them a couple months ago and my only regret was not getting them sooner.

A 2 mile stretch of road with loose gravel/asphalt that had been routed out for center line reflectors a few hours earlier left small chips and abrasions on my lower door and rocker panel. The next day I ordered these as I think they would have helped minimize the damage.

Just picked up a set of GT 500 splash guards.
Any ideas how to get the bumper screws out without taking off the wheels?

Yea I used a screwdriver that's like a ratchet, it's for small places like that. I'll get a pic later if you don't know what I mean. Let me know how they fit later also

You know a place that sells them? Btw this thread re ignited my interest in them. I always wanted them but something always came up.

Glad I got them...on the way now!
