Thanks Snoopy49

Anyway I was bored so I spent 75 bucks on 12 cans and have one left over. Need to re do the hood because it has paint lines but the roof was the same so I already peeled it all off and re did perfect.

Overall I like it. Need a little more work on my painting skills but learned a lot while doing it and adding coats in the future will be much easier and better looking although in person it looks very badass and well done minus the hood.

Wow from the pics it looks like you did a flawless job. You need the matte black tail light surround from AM. I tried my roof once and failed, It was streaky like your hood.

Ya I got much better the more I did. Roof and hood I did first. Roof was super ugly my first try but then stripped it fully (4 minutes to peel) and did flawless the second time. I'm going to attempt to fix the hood with more coats first, not sure if it will work but worth a try.

Rattle cans are much harder to do this with vs the kits you can buy from dipyourcar.com but $75 vs $250 and up was worth a first try.

It reminds me too much of a primered car that hasn't been painted yet. I do like your wheels though.

Doesn't really look half bad for a rattle can job.

I agree the pics give it that kind of look but in person it's easy to see the difference even from farther away. My brother said it looks like its made out of the bat suit

Not for everyone I agree. Would take about 1 hour to fully peel plus add an hour for any left overs in cracks or what not.

You think this until you go to take the dip off the hood and the heat from the engine has basically melted the dip to the car. It will come off, but not that easy. Just taking my hood spears off was a pain. If I were you I'd get it wrapped in vinyl if you like the matte look. You have a brand new car with flawless paint, save the dip for the beaters.

Looks cool. How long did it take, and how many coats?

Ya I left the quarter panels painted for now, I will remove if I feel it's blocking too much of my view.

Took about 6 hours and did 5-6 coats. Knowing how to do it now it will go way quicker if I do it again.

I did my heat extractors 5 months ago I think and removed them to repaint and nothing had melted yet. I'm not sure why some people have had that issue.
I wish I still had flawless paint. 6 months old and I've been hit twice needing $1800 in repaints and have a billion micro swirls and scratches

Go ahead and murder it out, it'll look good with black rims. You'll be the first to have a murdered 13.
