Roush side splitters installed

I tried to do the install in thirty minutes. It's much harder when your car is lowered with no jack stands : / I managed though. I just couldn't drill the 5 extra holes yet for added support. I'll have to jack up each side and use a lo profile drill but for that I guess.

Awesome. I think they really make the car look aggressive. Breaks up the color a bit too!

Just a little tidbit I found when installing mine. My car is not lowered and even when I got the front on ramps and jacked the back all the way up, my cordless drill was still too tall to fit to drill the additional holes. I looked at the right angle drills at all the local big box hardware stores and they were quite costly (for a 1 time use tool anyways). My cordless drill came with an impact driver which is quite a bit shorter (when drilling upward from under the car). If you have an impact driver, they do make special drill bits for them (The chuck on mine is different than my drill so a standard bit wont fit in it), and since they have a lower profile than a typical cordless drill, buying a $15 drill bit set is WAYYY cheaper than buying or renting a right angle drill FWIW...Good luck

Hmm...thanks for the info, I think my drill might still be too tall. I might try to rent a right angle drill from autozone.

Just installed these over the weekend. I debated on whether or not to drill and install the additional plugs. With the 3M tape and plugs in the stock locations that sucker is on there pretty good. That being said I ended up doing just the front additional holes as I could see wind catching the front end of the extension. Haven't had any issues so far...

You need to drill the additional holes. No excuses. As temperature changes, plastic pulls and shrinks. In addition to water trapped in the seams... Portions of the tape will eventually give.

The nylon retainers are great for positioning and general hold but you really need some type of beefier fasteners for those 5 extra drill holes.

I would go back and drill all... Btw they help keep the splitter flush... Nothing worse than wavy side splitters.

One of my favorite installs especially if you have a front splitter.

Not so sure it is serving any purpose as I don't drive much in rain. But it gives a good overall look to ur stance.
