Roush Front Spoiler & Cobra Jet Emblems Added
OK, the front is almost done now. I just installed the Roush Front Spoiler and 1970 "Cobra Jet" Emblems to my CDC Shaker Hood Scoop. I also readjusted the Shaker as the installed mounted the studs incorrectly and the front was sitting too high. Now all I plan to do is a Matte Black hood stripe.

I think it looks great. I love the chin spoiler...
Brace yourself for taking some crap about having "cobra jet" on a car that's no Cobra Jet...but I say ignore them. Looks sharp and that motor is all business anyway.

Actually, the new Roush Chin Spoiler is not really any lower than the factory one. It's a complete replacement, and just juts out further. The new one from CDC just doesn't look as good. The Roush was only $200.00, so not too pricey

Well, forget the lousy directions from Roush. You remove the bolts that attach the original and the underbody panel. Then pop out the 6 Pushpins that hold the original in, and remove the factory spoiler. Then, use as many of the factory screws to bolt the new spoiler back in with the underbody panel. Instead of cutting up the original, I just attached the 4 outer points with self tapping, stainless steel screws. Everything fit perfect, and nothing is visible unless you lay under the car. Took about 30 minutes to install.

I like the stang! I want to keep making the interior the brick red 401a interior though :-) hah I would just love to see a shiny black convertible with a red interior, and imo the 401a is the nicest of the mustang interiors by far. Still like your saddle though. Hey, you know who youre car would be if it had the red interior right? Think Biff Tannens 1946 Ford convertible with red interior from the Back to the Future movies Haha I think with red yours would be the perfect modern representation. Snarling V8. Manure?!?! You HATE manure!!! Now make like a tree and get outta here.

As far as the front design and hood goes, what's different on the '13 that makes the shaker scoop look better than on the '10-'12 models? What am I missing? Do the headlights of the '13 make the scoop look better? That's the only HUGE "stand out" change I see in the front end of the Mustang. Now the rear end, yes, major change with the license plate area.
