Reputable source for installing vinyl stripes in MD/VA area?

Looking for feedback/recommendations on a shop that installs stripe kits in the MD/VA area. If you know of a good shop, from your own personal experience, please let me know. I am considering adding 10 or 12 inch silver lemans stripes on my black '14 convertible. Thanks!

Can't help on the shop, just wondering if you have the stripe kit yet?

Glenn-No, I haven't bought the stripe kit yet... any recommendations on that? I was thinking of getting the kit from AM.

Slo- Thanks for the lead.

call the dealerships and see who they use.

I know I'm not impressed at all with the stripes that were installed on my car by whoever Ted Britt in Fairfax uses.

After less than a year the stripes have scuffs on both bumpers that I know I can't do a darn thing about. I figure I'll just paint them on down the road.

Danielle- I was wondering how the vinyl stripes would hold up... now you have me thinking that I might be better off having them painted on in the first place. (That, however, is a serious commitment!!)

Well I'll say it two different ways...

I feel the quality of vinyl could be better....

but

Washington DC is extremely hard on cars.

the rear bumper has been hit twice while parked, i can tell from the marks on the vinyl.
the pass rear wheel has been curbed once.
the front bumper has been hit once while parked
the drivers side fender has been hit once while parked too.

the car is only a year old, and I have never experienced any slightest amount of damage on any previous car in the last 15 years, other than hitting a deer.

I hear ya on DC being hard on cars... I live on the Eastern Shore but drive through town every day (in my commuter car) to Arlington for work. I'm glad I don't have to drive (and park) the Mustang in town. So, aside from the damage to the vinyl from folks hitting your bumpers, would you say the stripes held up ok in other areas? BTW, I love your wheels... sorry to hear about the curb rash!
