Rear diffuser

Does anyone know where I can get a rear diffuser like the one on the GT/CS or GT500? I like the GT500 one but I don't want quad exhaust.

Are you talking about a Boss / GT/CS rear diffuser for the 2014 when it arrives? If so, I bought mine online from Tousley Ford. Why mention the GT500 one if you don't like the quad pipes, as you don't have a choice of getting a 2013 or 2014 GT500 diffuser with dual pipes.

Probably because people will automatically mention it and he's getting it out of the way right away so people wont mention it.

Maybe so. More importantly, I really hope Anthony is okay and safe after today's tornado.

any ford dealership, any parts retailer, or you can probably pay through the nose from vendors.

Bought this from local ford dealership for 199, part number DR3Z*17f828*AB. Worked well for my 2013.

Thanks for the replies. I will look into one when my Stang arrives. Yes I live in Moore, OK and forunately my house is still standing. The tornado took out the houses one block over from me and I got debris and holes all in my roof, some water damage but the important thing is me, my family and my Stang are all ok!

You need either the DR3Z-17F828-AA rear bumper extension for Boss 302 & GT/CS (MSRP $267.25) or the DR3Z-17F828-BA accessory rear bumper extension (MSRP $150.00). I expect that they are the same but the accessory part number will sell for less. You should be able to obtain either item from any Ford dealer and most online Ford part retailers. You will also need some mounting hardware. My GT500 extension required 7 W716460-S300 5x12mm clips. The Boss & GT/CS could require a different quantity. I could have modified two tabs to allow me to use 9 clips but since I only had 8 on hand I just assembled it as Ford intended. Also, the lower outboard tabs are supposed to attach with screws and j-nuts, one per side. I found the part numbers provided by Ford to be for a j-nut and a plastic 6.35mm push pin and as these are not compatible with one another and also are way too small for the provided holes, I enlarged the holes very slightly (to 25/64" if I remember correctly or possibly 3/8") in the rear bumper extension to allow me to instead use 2 YL8Z-16K262-HC "grommets" (they are 10mm push pins) which looks much better than the screws (you can't get the part number for these screws) & clips that are found on the factory installed Boss 302, GT/CS & GT500 rear bumper extensions. The idea is to allow the grommet to just fit through the extension and not to be as loose as it is in the rear bumper cover holes. The holes in your painted rear bumper cover already accommodate the 10mm grommets with no modification. These are the same part number as the 2 grommets that attach your bumper extension to the body. The uppermost image is of a 2013 Boss 302LS and the next one down is my Mustang.

I love that quad exhaust. Do they have a diffuser for the '12 that I wouldn't have to cut?

Thank you. Somebody should do it then. It would look just as awesome on the '10-'12 as it does the new ones.
