Is this possible???

Would a hood scoop fit over a shaker scoop?

I like the functionality of the shaker system, but I hate how small the scoop looks compared to the rest of the car, but I love the look of the nonfunctional scoops....is this possible?

Or am I stupid, and should just get a ram air good or something along those lines? Idk. I just want to make the nonfunctional scoop functional.

I'm sure you could pull it off but probably not the way you want... Your hood scoop would have to clear the shaker, so your options are probably limited and ugly, and you'll most likely be able to see the shaker under the hood scoop... I'd look for another hood with a functional scoop and call it a day.

Just my opinion, I'm no expert.

You could modify the shaker scoop itself, cut the scoop off, let it still seal on the hood, then have the factory scoop act as the scoop for the CDC system.

The shaker system is more for looks anyways. It doesn't really pull a ton of air from the hood.

You'd be better off getting a new hood that has scoops and ducting built in to drop air right into the filter area an run an aftermarket CAI.

That sounds like it would look horrible. Definitely better to just use a different intake.
