Plasti-Dipped Wheels

For those who are wondering or interested on going this cheap, but effective route (IMO) here are some before and after pictures of my wheels. it isn't difficult to do, but i would say to take off the wheels and do them on the ground to prevent running of the paint. they also sell a gloss for the paint. if you are looking for a matt black finish, omit this step, but if you like the glossy effect and look of the paint, this is a good option. i purchased 3 cans of the black at wal-mart for $8 a piece, and still had a half can left. would of been more left, but i screwed up twice. the awesome part of all this is if at the end of the day you dont like the look, just peel the paint off and its good as new. it can also be used on just about anything.

-note,

doing them in a humid-free day is highly recommended as the paint wont stick and dry properly. Also, it says to do them in a well ventilated area on the instructions, kinda common sense, but i would tell you to not do them on a windy day for obvious reasons.
3 coats of black and one coat of gloss is what i did, though you may do +/- depending on your preference.

Looks good! I've been thinking of doing the same thing to my 2013 GT. Nice color too, just like my "Ingot Silver".

Not bad! I am curious what it would look like on CS wheels.

That looks great. Just picked up a set of stock GT wheels and tires to swap on when it gets too cold for the V6 PP setup. Been looking for someone to prove plasti dip looks good on these wheels, and you have delivered!
