Smile Pedestal Spoiler

Hi Guys,
After reading the 2011 Brembo GT reviews and related forums information. I became a believer and join you guys, just bought a racing red color w/. the 3.73. Before this one I had a '02 Black Porsche Carrera w/. modified suspension. Compared with the GT, I really don't miss my old car. Now I'm looking around for exterior modifications, I really liked the GT/CS pedestal spoiler w/ the red above, black below color, and thinking if I should include the side scoops & the Quarter window louvers. Once that you install the scoops & the louvers, Which are the chances that they might feel, with speed? (that happened to my front lip spoiler in my Porsche, driving at HIGH speed). Also, Do you have any visual problem when you drive with the window louvers?. Where do you recommend me to get that stuff?, probably prepainted will be better.

The Spoiler you want is OEM from Ford, the cheapest I have seen it for is $280, primed and ready to paint.

I checked on the Louvers at my local Ford Accessory Store, and for the painted Louvers they wanted $399 for the painted OEM Ford ones. I myself if I ever put louvers on will go with the SilverHorse Racing units, they actually replace the quarter windows and pre-painted are about $345.

As for the Scoops, I am not crazy about the side or the hood, but someone else will come along with info on them I would Imagine.

I can't speak for other quarter window louvers, but the ones from Silverhorse Racing do not really limit visibility, at least as viewed from the front seats.

The rear spoiler only slightly affects rear visibility. As far as actually feeling the difference with and without the spoiler I'll have to hold my comments until next year when I get to take my GT/CS on track!
