Smile Painted my strut tower brace

Long been thinking of doing this, and I finally got off my butt and painted my strut tower brace yesterday, re-installing it today.
I got the primer, the color, and the clear, all from automotivetouchup.com since Sterling Gray seems to be impossible to find other than custom places like that.

Anyway, after 3-4 coats of primer, 3-4 coats of color, and 4-5 coats of clear, here's what I ended up with.

Let me know what you guys/gals think

And a pic of the engine bay without the brace installed, just because, lol

Again, I think it looks great. Even better that you did it yourself. Once that clear hardens up a little and cures all the way I would hit it with some wet sanding action and buff that sucker out so it matches the shine of the rest of your car. What was the total cost if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks guys, I love it.
As far as cost Steve, the paint was $19.95/can, plus the primer/clear/shipping, it was about $46 for everything

Looks clean Gabe. Where did you get the battery and master cylinder cover at?

Thanks man, I got them from a vendor on the forums, had a sale for $75 shipped, seems they're a few $$ more now.

Looks great in the engine bay. The color came out awesome on the strut brace. Love that metallic flake.

Thanks man, I'm surprised with how good it came out myself, I think it might be my best paint job to date

If I end up having issues with it peeling or whatever I'll either Plasti-Dip it (prob not), replace it with another GT brace since they're usually found fairly easily for sale, or just replace it with a Boss brace, since at some point I plan on doing a Boss manifold anyway ...

Looks good Gabe. I thought of this when I had my engine cover PTMed, but decided against the idea. You got me thinking again.
