Ordered Starkey V6 Foglight Kit
UPDATED 12/2/12
If you want to read my experience with installation, here you go. If you just want to see some pics scroll down because I wrote a lot haha!
I got the kit and yesterday I got to install them. Let me tell you, for someone like me who has never even touched a car before to do mods or anything, lets just say this took me a really long time! Total from start to finish it took me 8 hours. Part of that may be a result of not having any jack lifts or anything to lift the car to get underneath. So it took a good amount of time to unscrew the splash car underneath the car with about 17 screws in them and trying to find where they even were located using a socket wrench. And I was being extra careful because I didn't want to do any damage or create any scratches.
Taking the bumper off wasn't too too bad, it requires more force than I had read about to come off, but it was easier to pull it off from the ends instead of the nose like was suggested. Now removing the old grilles from the back was a bit trouble for me. The bottom was much easier, but my license plate frame got in the way which made removal a bit harder. The top grille was fine once I got some tabs out, but it was a bit tricky because I didn't want to just pull it out from the front, I figured I'd probably scratch it. Screwing in the fog lights was a piece of cake nothing hard to do there.
Wiring was the other pain! Once you get the wiring harness from the battery, to the fogs, and across the frame of the car, you need to cut into a firewall to get wires through to the driver side. That part wasn't so bad, but in this kit you need to use wire taps which are these little red things that you snap onto an existing wire and then connect the new ones from the kit to. Those things would not snap for the life of me. My fingers were broken by the time I could get the 3 different ones to get on lol.
Make sure though that once you connect the wires from the kit that they are pushed down all the way and connected as much as possible. I had a problem where as soon as you connect the battery (You had to disconnect for installation) all the lights would go on immediately (except the fogs of course) and you couldn't control the lights with the switch. On top of that the car wouldn't start, so obviously something was wrong, and it was because one of the wires wasn't connected as much as it could be.
The worst part out of this entire installation was getting a 3rd wire to the interior fuse box on the passager side to the right of the foot area (whatever its called). To get a wiretap into one of the wires there was almost impossible, and it was the last step and I felt like quiting at that point. It's very hard to get yourself in a position in the area that is very crammed, and you're lucky if you could get two hands to work in that area.
BUT! After all of that work and piecing everything back together (mind you it was freezing out and I could not feel my toes after it all lol), I do NOT regret one second of it. Having of always dreamed of having fog lights on my Mustang after seeing my car with them on I was just so pleased and happy. They look absolutely amazing! I wasn't a big fan of the stock chrome grille, so getting what I always wanted just makes the car look so much sexier
Sorry for the long write up, just had to vent! It's always helpful to have a second person helping though if you can get someone. But if you want to do it by yourself it definitely is possible. And I'm such a beginner at this, so if I can do it anyone can.

Fogs installed! Now time for wiring:

Final images! Sorry about quality, will get better pics up soon. And pics don't do it justice, the lights have a more blue tint than yellow to them and they look awesome and clear!

So I recently ordered a Starkey Foglight Kit for my 2013 V6 stock stang. It's a GT Grille with the foglights, and the kit also comes with a matching lower grille where the honeycombs aren't as stretched as the default stock so it matches the new one.
Here it is:

I'm supposed to get it delivered to me today by the end of the day and I can take some pics of the parts. I'll probably install it this weekend and let everyone know how it went if anyone else was thinking about this product. I haven't seen any pics or stories about anyone else installing one of these on the '13s so that's why I want to share my experience hopefully without screwing up lol
My dream was always to have grille-mounted fogs and for around $500 I figured I'd get them for my V6 instead of $7,000 more for a GT when I don't need the extra power...so fingers crossed!

I got mine (I don't have a pic of the wiring harness in this pic, since I have more pics on my real camera, this is a phone pic)
The instructions seem a bit long and a bit intimidating but as long as I follow step by step I'm sure it'll be fine
