OEM Boss 302 Wheels on a 2012 Performance White GT???

So I was doing my daily rounds on craigslist and I came across an ad of someone selling there 2013 oem black Boss 302 19" wheels. They have less than 1k on them and there in perfect condition. The guy is selling them for $600, good deal? I think if I showed up with $500 or $550, cash in hand, he'd budge. Of course I would need tires for them as well, or I could just try and resell them for a profit. Thought?

I think for $500-$600 they are a great deal, and the black would look awesome with your white GT. You would need new rubber, 255/40 19 front, and 285/35 19 rear. Maybe you could sell your OEM tires to offset your new expenses. Good luck!

Are 19" tires harder to come by, and more expensive than 18" or 20"?

I'm not 100% sure but I'd bet so, like PJR said though they'd look great on your ride

19" tires don't have as many options for sizes. And are generally more expensive than the 18 or even 20"

Always had 19s on all my cars without any problems. That's a good deal, if you have the cash and like the wheels it's a no brainer!

Don't walk, RUN ! That's a deal and a half.

I hope you get them, they would look great indeed on your car, Gruiz.

Just my thoughts.......Bill

To me, they are just ok. They are heavy and black wheels are played out nowadays. At $500 for a set of Boss 302 OEM wheels (tires are considered shot), you probably can't go wrong; they can be resold for about the same price or more if you changed mind.

Do it!! They will look GREAT on your Performance White.

I added the OEM Boss wheels to my GHIG. What I liked best was they are not just all black. The machined lip is what sets them apart and in my opinion makes them look better than all black wheels.

Do it most definitely !!!!!!!!!!!! I have a set Shelby 56 wheels on my GT for summer use and the are very similar to the standard boss. Love them both !

Go for it. As others have said, I think it would look good.
