New shoes on the car!
New shoes on the car!
Finally got my wheels/tires on this weekend.
Tried and True RTR wheels in Matte Charcoal 19 x 9.5, 33 offset wrapped with General G-Max AS03 All season 275/40-19's.
There may be lots of pictures already of white stangs w/ RTRs but pictures really do not do it justice. They totally transformed the car and now I wish I had went with them first before any other mods.
So what if mesh/multi-spoke wheels are 'played out'?... Don't see any Mustangs here w. those wheels.
So what if everyone and their mom has dark/matte black/charcoal wheels on a white car?... Sometimes good style just can't be improved upon.
So what if everyone has RTRs or some derivative of it?... Still will keep you in awe in person with the right stance and setup etc.
So what if -1-2 lbs difference vs stock goes right away when you mount with heavy 275 tires?... Don't care about unsprung weight on a daily driven car w/ wheels that need to be rotated.
For the price/availability, the RTRs had the desired look, texture, color, offset, fitment and stance to accomplish what I was looking for. Like others have said, there may be other derivatives on the theme but only one wheel is the RTR and gives you that exact look.
Enough of my rambling heres some pics:

Op, so you went with 19x9.5 all 4? I can get this exact set with no tires for 900 brand new right now. Only thing that is stopping me is that I wanted staggered fitment. I also wonder how my steering wheel would react with 275 tires..do you guys think this is a good price?

Looks great. I agree with what you say about the RTR's. I purchased silver ones for my white 2011 because they were the look I was after, that's all that should matter, if it pleases you. Congrats to you.

btw.. have anyone seen the combination black stang with silver rtr wheels? Already searched and i cant find a single one
