New grille opinions
I'm throwing around the idea of putting the Modern Billet Retro Grille on my car, and retain the GT fog lights. Just wanted to get people's opinions.

I'd leave it stock.

Black out the pony maybe? Even a gloss black or matte charcoal. I'm surprised there aren't any aftermarket grill options out there that are just the stock honeycomb but without the pony altogether, just a straight pony-delete grill.

Amazing what some headlight and foglight tint, and a can of black plastidip can do to change the looks of the front end.
I will however, remove the headlight tint; it's just not bright enough at night sadly.

I just tinted all my lights with vinyl. Went darkest possible all around, but a lighter tint on the headlights. I didn't notice much of a loss when I night drive, which is very often.

I vote keep the stock honeycomb inserts but after seeing your photos, I'm really curious to know how it would look if the entire stock grill and pony were blacked out with a true black. Right now, especially in the light, my OEM grill looks more like a muted gray. I've got a black GT so the contrast is very apparent but I've chalked it up to it being so apparent because it's a black car but I'm seeing the same dull grayness in yours as well. If I end up trying it out with mine I'll post up some pics.

I'm having this same fight on my black GT. Retro billet vs cervini (thinner & more fins) vs stock.
Right now I'm leaning to the stock setup, with maybe a pony blackout. I'm hoping to get a street scene gen 2 chin spoiler on before I pass final judgment. That bottom pic looks killer. I wish someone made a stock, blank honeycomb grille that would allow the fogs to hide behind it.

I dont think you can go wrong with either. I'll be removing the fog lights from behind the grille this weekend and putting a Tri bar pony emblem on the grille. I'll post some more pics then.
I always thought the stock front end needed toned down a bit. I toned it down by putting the fog lights behind the grille.

I say leave it stock. With the silver stripes it looks better with the chrome of the stock grill. If you didn't have the silver stripes then the new grill would good.
