New Front installed

So many of you don't know but I was pretty happy with the setup i had going on, that of the Roush front and splitter combo.
then this past july 4th, on the way home from a firework filled night,
following behind a fat Cadillac on the freeway, the dude decides to run over what looks to be a mangled up bike frame.

with traffic on both sides of me and me no where to swerve, i run over the mangled mess. below is the result.

So thank the Good Lord the tires didnt blow, but it ripped out my wheel liner and also my fog light as well. what is seen in the pic is just the glass.
So i was bummed for a bit and luck would have it, had a kit on hand that i was still on the fence about putting on.

since i didnt want to roll with the stock bumper to the upcoming show, i decided to prep it and put it on.
what do you guys think?

that's a hell of a backup lol. I like the Roush better usually but your stock one with the splitters looks sinister.

Not horrible, but the Roush one is almost perfection on the '11 and '12 models.

Looks good Jed! I agree with the others, the Roush front is a better look, but that chin with your stock fascia is pretty darn good to! Also I haven't seen very many stangs with that chin spoiler so it has a very unique look to it as well! Nice wheels to!

LOL thanks guys, yeah i loved the roush look too. super clean and I love that it keeps the fogs as well.
yeah, due to money issues ( the issue is having no money ) i can't get another roush replacement for awhile so yeah going roll like this.

Thanks Rob! yeah just got them, matches the theme i was going with, kona and grey

That bike incident sucks but at least you had this as a back up. Still looks good!

I actually think this one looks cleaner and meaner. To many have the Roush one and why look like everyone else.

you know what is weird, Ive seen it too, where there are alot of people with that same set up. but the stangs i hang out with, i am the only one with a roush front setup

but yeah you have a point, it is different from what is out there.

Its actually one piece. everything that is on the bottom cept the actual painted bumper is a one off kit i got from Kris Horton. it never made it to production.
but that is also what worries me tho, if it gets messed up, there is no replacement out there lol

Looks good - never seen this front till today. Is the roush piece done or can it be repaired?

Honestly bro, i havent even tried to find out yet.
others have said just to sell it as it and not mess with it.

but i am looking at it and maybe it could be, since its on the bottom mostly and no one would really see unless they looked real close. I got a buddy who owns a automotive repair shop but haven't had a chance for him to check it out.

but good idea, maybe i just get it repaired and have it on hand for the next bike frame that comes along

+1 that stance is freaking awesome. And the backup chin looks amazing to me man. The roush front is perfect, but this is so unique and matches your grille and wheels and everything. I wouldn't be unhappy at all to have it on for a while.

And as a side note that's one of the best looking konas I've ever seen. Those wheels are different and way cool looking. Good job. Well done

they are eibach prokit shocks and struts and Eibach sportline springs. had the prokit springs before but they weren't low enough for me

I'm so glad I found this thread again. I love your car.

And I want to ask you what else besides eibach pro dampers and sportlines you used on the suspension. Camber plates or bolts?
