Need some pictures of window tiniting
One of the first things I'm going to do to the car (ETA 4/28) is to tint the windows. Anyone care to post pictures of thier cars with tinting and the % (is that correct ?) that they have on the side and back. I had tinting on my 05 GT and my 06 Vet, but for the life of me, I can't remember any numbers with them. My color is Race Red, hoping someone out there has a picture of it tinted.

the cars look great with the tint. i guess I'm going to need to go the stop and see the difference in person.
I'll let you know what I end up with.
Love that Boss. If they only made a convertible model. Maybe the "Boss 301" model.

That is the best thing you can do. Pictures don't tell the whole story. With the right lighting and angle, I can make 35% look like 5% on a forum.

I did 5% on mine and it's great. Cops don't mess with me unless I'm doing something stupid to begin with. I would think it's not worth the time for just a tint ticket.

30% metallic tint
I guess it depends on where you live. Here in GA, the ticket can be upto $1000, which is more than just about any moving violation. So some counties love to hand out tint tickets.

Here in Virginia, the darkest the tint + window can be is 50% (light transmissibility) even with and forward of the driver, and no darker than 30% or 35% aft of the driver. It beats what they used to allow which was NOTHING.
I plan to get my '12 coupe's windows tinted ASAP after I get the car, to the above limits. Didn't bother on my white 'vert. It seemed (and would have been) unnecessary on that car, for some reason. I figured if the top & windows are down most of the time the sun is up, what's the use?
