So, I am having a hard time deciding whether or not to purchase painted mirror covers. I like the way they look, but like the current way my car looks.

I did some PS editing to see what it would look like. Which do you prefer? Mirror covers or no covers?

I like the covers. I got them for my prior 06 Mustang as was very happy with them.

 

I like the covers. I actually just started a topic about wanting some for my car.

 

I like it without the covers. The black stripes go good with the non painted caps

 

No covers. It takes away from the boss stripe.

 

The overall balance looks much better without mirror covers!
I'd keep it the way you have it.

 

Really it looks good either way. I personally like it with the black covers as it goes perfect with the theme of your car.

I say go with the mirror covers. I think the color matching looks tidier plus you won't have to worry about that plastic fading. I had issues with it already, but luckily had planned to color match them anyway.

 

I think I am going to stay with my black covers for now guys, I think everyone here and on MF thinks to leave it as is.

Who knows, after I pay off my $150 dollar deductible I might order the covers painted from DG Custom and then just see how they look installed.
