Lowering Issues, Need help

I lowered my 2010 Gt this weekend, all the parts I used are:
eibach pro kit
tokico hp struts/shocks
ford gt500 strut mounts
umi performance adj panhard
umi rear ca relocation brackets
bmr boxed lower ca's
camber bolts

coming Monday:
bmr upper ca w/mount
bmr panhard brace

My problem is i have a clunking noise coming from front and rear over bigger bumps, re-tightened everything on rear and still have noise, even used the synthetic grease. took the car to shop and they impacted the front strut nut and said it was tight enough,so now i am just confused as to what it can all be. anyone who may have had any of these issues please let me know what you did to correct it please.

Hey there,

I didn't check the specs on your parts but I assume the suspension bits have poly or harder bushings? Are your clunks low speed only? Is it quiet at speed? One thing that does happen is some shops use impact guns on the front sway bar links and this spins the ball in the Teflon liner of the link and can male that part clunk over low speed transitions (in and out of your driveway). To rule that out take out your front antiroll bar links and drive around to see if the front end clunk goes away. If it does, replace the links and make sure they are installed by hand with the correct size 2 wrenches.. Your rear end noise might just be the result of all the stiffer/harder bushings and links you installed. All that comes at a price.

They are all poly bushings, and i do believe you may be right on the links, my 08 GT had same problem, we only hand tightened these with all new fasteners but have not been able to re-check due to weather issues, but will be doing so asap, thanks for the info.

Most of the noises are at low speeds except for the front, most of it is primarily on right side. Doesnt sound like metal to metal, just a slight bump over road imperfections, maybe the jounce jumpers bumping, used the ones that came with the tokico struts.

My bet is on the sway bar link at the front. Easy to check, cheap to fix.

The noise out of the **** end sounds like my 2010 gt which has nearly the same mods on it. I have had mine gone over twice and the noises are normal. If you were hitting the jounce stop the car would feel very harsh/abrupt on bumps. Mine did that until I removed the eibach sport line springs and went with pro lines. Look u derneath the car to see how much room you have between the jounce bumper and the frame.... How many inches between them?

I have about 1/2-3/4 inches on the rear bump stops, and I guess it will just take some getting use to, gonna try and pull off front tires today and tighten up the endlinks, thanks for the input everyone, the handling and appearence alone still make it worth a couple of small "noises".

Had the endlinks torqued at dealership but still have mild clunking sound over imperfect roads, anyone know if the tokico hp struts have jounce bumpers the same size as factory, may be hitting creating sound, maybe need cut down or replaced.

Thanks, I would agree that they will not clear, you can barely see daylight with stock ford calipers lol, would you happen to know Sams contact number by chance ? I will sure call him, before I attempt to take it to dealership.

Well i have re-traced my steps in the spring install and low and behold i think i found my problem, i did not put the lower rubber sleeve on the eibachs from factory springs, we pushed the little clear one down to the bottom, leaving the spring coils that compress together bare.

When I lowered mine I had more of a harshness over bumps in the rear as well as the sound you described. For me the bump stop was creating the harshness over the bumps and the noise was the rubber piece I did not move from the OEM springs to the lowering springs.
