I installed mine Monday. The box and filter are a lot deeper than it looks. Filter is oblong and goes far down into the box. From all the pictures I saw I thought it was tiny but it's not. I just wanted to change the air box out and not touch the tube, this was perfect and is working well with my FRPP tune.

Very easy install, $100 less than most other CAI, does not require a tune, looks great, I'm hoping for 8-10 more HP and 1-2 more MPG...maybe! Can you see the pic now?

I removed mine, I didn't like the fact that the stock inlet air duct does not wrap around the lower box and make a seal. The factory box and most other CAI do. The Roush unit leaves a gap that in my opinion can pull in hot engine air. Going to get some baseline Dyno numbers next month. Will do two runs one with and one without CAI. Not convinced on this unit.

Really? I got the stock inlet squeezed into the Roush air box front opening - you just pull it all the way in. Fits well, with a very very small opening (the size of 1/2 a dime maybe) at the lower bottom portion. See pic:

I keep on thinking about getting this too... I have a K&N filter in my stock air box now, so I wonder if the Roush CAI would even make a difference?

How about the sound? Can you hear it inside the car?

Ya know, I really don't notice any change below 3000 RPM. But over 3000 RPM, there is noticable increase throttle response, and a small increase in noise...in a good way. I really drive like a grandpa around town to save gas, but I can't wait to experience the new CAI on the track, where the revs get high...and fun. But it only cost $200, one of the least expensive quality CAIs you can buy, and it looks great. Since I show the car a lot, I kind of needed a CAI.

+1 I show my car a lot and it looks stock like it belongs there. I have notice a little more response at higher rpms also a slightly louder growl. Definitely worth the 200.00 in my opinion. Not a fan of removing the whole tube this is strictly and air box replacement....basically what should have came with the car.
