By the looks of his avatar it is a V6. So he skipped the GT look and went right for the boss imitation.

...and welcome to the forum!!

In all fairness, the guy just asked about changes to make it "lean more into the boss 302 look".

In other words he didn't say "I have a V6 and want to know how to make people think I'm driving a Boss302" but feel free to slam him anyway.

Anyway, if mlepor2012 is still out there or even cares...you could change the grille, front diffuser, rear lower diffuser, blackout the center of the rear decklid, rear wing, and buy the ungodly expensive Boss 19" staggered wheel/tires for starters.

your car and your money brother.. i'm guessing the negativity here can also be found in their personal lifes too...
anyway i'd go for a gt front facia with the boss grill insert and change the wheels.. i like those boss LS rims wish they came in black though!

The Boss is lean... U r right. I get what your asking... You simply like the clean lean lines, lacking the bling a lot of Mustang owners plug into their cars. My guess would be to replace as many visuals you can with Boss parts as you can. Someone said to repaint your car with similar lines. That may have sounded like a wisecrack, but that person is exactly right! It's just like there are ways, colors and lines in your clothing that can make you look fatter than you are or thinner than you are. A very good paint business will know exactly what you want and should give you great suggestions that will give you that look AND also make it unique. Listen, in spite of what some bozo said, Most great ideas aren't original ideas, they are ideas that take something that is already great to another level. The Boss is a great example of the Mustang GT to another level. So go for it!!!!

do a CS fron end and add the LS splitter, 5.0 Boss crate motor, brembos, 19 FRPP wheels, FRPP seats, paint the roof, add graphics, Boss grille, remove good stereo, some sound deadening, power seats, etc... or buy Vitos's wrecked LS and rebuild! Option 2 may be cheaper

Take the springs off one side. That will make it "lean"

The easiest way to look like a Boss is to put the stripe on the side.

99.9% of the public won't know the difference.

Ha... For the unschooled... This "lean" is the adjective version, not the verb...

You guys are to hard on him, what makes the mustang great is that you can achieve almost any look that you desire, this guy earned his car and wants to stand out from the pack a bit and he is entitled to do so. He just wanted some advice from fellow enthusiasts.

It just bums me out to see these guys after post 1 get mocked and teased and never return, because who knows he may be a cool guy and eventually really contribute to the community.

Of course if a guy can't take a joke or some flak for whatever reason then it's probably best he doesn't hang on a forum.
