I just got my pre-painted CPC NXT Gen hood struts from CJPP. I did a search but didn't find anything relevant. The directions look pretty clear but I was wondering if anyone had some extra tips to install these? Is there anything I should avoid? I don't want to ruin any of the factory paint or mess up the hood alignment. Thanks in advance! I will post a write up and pics when complete.

Pretty straight forward. You can see mine tonight if you wait to do them.

Don't take out both bolts in th ehood- only remove one and remove the other one half way. Alignment doesnt get messed up.

Re-route the washer hose- i zip tied mine to the bracket.

 

motorz.tv has a short clip on installing them.

Just got done installing these. Definitely a good idea to have a extra set of hands. I'm not so keen in the fact that this brand does not look factory. It looks like it was made for a different year even though it says 2010+. Color match is off, way to light. I honestly think these are for an 05+ vista blue instead by the look n color. I'll get some pics up later today.
